Thanks for a great 2009!

Hi everyone,

I’ve decided to take December off from making any new ‘searching for grace’ comics. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been reading, sharing and enjoying the comics and preaching on this website. I’m excited to say I’ll be adding much more to this website in the new year, so please continue to check back in for updates!

For any die hard fans out there, you can continue to get your daily dose of my comic in the Archive section of the website, there’s a link on the right hand sidebar.

Amazed?

John just can’t help but continue to talk about the greatness of Christ and how amazing the reality of His finished work is. John longs to share his joy and excitement with his pastor, but unfortunately Pastor Moses really doesn’t seem that interested.

In Pastor Moses’ mind there’s a never ending amount of work yet to be finished in the church, he can’t just stop doing stuff to twiddle his thumbs and think about these lofty ideas John keeps talking about!

Sue lives with a strange, and at times sad, double life. Everyone knows her title as Pastor Moses’ wife, but nobody really knows her. Of course she’s not the only one in the church that feels this way, she’s just the greatest of the unknowns.

Pastor Moses is under the impression that if he just shares enough of his own life experiences with his congregation then their whole lives will be changed. John simply wants his pastor to preach about the reality of the the finished work of Jesus.

Pastor Moses, the people don’t need to hear about your life, they need to hear about The Life!

Eric loves telling people how God doesn’t want programmed robots, he want’s people to be free, and yet it seems his whole life is completely pre-programmed?

Note from Mick: This is my first attempt at an 8 panel ‘searching for grace’ comic. I intend, in general, to stick to 4 panels, but every now and then I might make a bigger comic. What do you think of the 8 panel comic?

Pastor Moses isn’t convinced by all this ‘Jesus orientated’ talk… He’s still convinced that if the birds had thumbs they would also be taking pride in what they are doing!

Pastor Moses was just reading an article that explained how only man has “opposable thumbs.” No other animal’s hands/paws work like that, and as a result that can’t do as much as man can. Pastor Moses is very proud of all he is doing… Those stupid birds can’t do anything!
