“You’re loved. You’re a beautifully created individual. You’ve been crafted by the master craftsmen. You’re a perfect work. You’re the treasured possession of the King of heaven. You’re more amazing, wonderful and significant than you realise. You’re brighter than the stars. You’re more stunning then the sun set. You are exactly who God made you to be. You’re a blessing. You’re a comfort. You’re a light. Thank you for being so perfectly you.”
“Fear is focused on breaking people, but God is focused on recreating people. When we are recreated in Christ we are no longer naked victims to fear; rather, we are clothed with the almighty power of God’s love. Perfect love clears the way; it removes the sting of fear so that we may have rest for our souls. God’s love is our resting place.”

“God lets us rest upon his wings when we are full of strength flying among the mountain tops, and lets us rest upon his shoulder when we are in tears within the valley below. No matter the emotional place we find ourselves, God is with us as our friend, our councilor and our helper. He is always with us. He loves us. He cares for us. He is committed to us. He is our strength in times of need.”
Confessing Sins: What’s The Point Of 1 John 1:9?
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
This one sentence in John’s letter seems to cause a great deal of stress and controversy. And with it comes the questions: What did he mean by that? Someone recently asked me for my take on this Scripture, so I’ll also share it here for all of you who might also be interested in it.
Firstly, I don’t think that when John wrote this his intention was for it to be taken in a threatening way (he is known as the Apostle of love after all) but rather, I believe it is written to encourage us. Yes, encourage. But, how does it encourage us?
