This Is The Gospel

Today I would like to share the first message from a long series based on Paul’s letter to the Romans. I started this series a few months ago and I’m currently up to chapter 10.

I’d really recommend taking the time to have a listen to this message, and if you enjoy it you can continue to listen to the following messages whenever you have the time.

You can listen to the first message here: The Gospel Of God’s Grace

God’s Greatest Love – It’s You!

What does God want from you? The truth is radical, glorious and all together life changing: God wants you to allow him to love you.

God doesn’t what you to perform an outward action, but to allow an inner one. He wants permission to love you with all that he is, for you truly are the love of his life. You as a person; as an individual.

It’s amazingly good news: You’re the one God loves; you’re the one he adores. You’re his joy; you are his treasure. When God looks upon you he sees that his dreams have come true.

I preached this message today. Have a listen and enjoy the reality of God’s personal love for you!

The Eternal Plan Of God

In today’s message I go through the eternal plan of God. Starting with before time began, the creation of heaven, the fall of the angels, the fall of Adam, the story of Abraham and Israel; and how all these different parts of God’s story have a common theme.

The bible is not a rule book, or a life coaching manual, or a list of written instructions. The Bible is a testimony. It is a testimony to the life and eternal story of Jesus. Today’s message helps shed some light on understanding the testimony of Jesus in regards to the eternal plan of God.

I think you’ll really enjoy this message, definitely worth the listen.

Understanding God’s Idea Of Righteousness

In today’s message I discuss the difference between understanding ‘righteousness by works‘ compared to a ‘righteousness by faith.’

The amzing thing about God’s idea of rightousness is that he does all the work in us, and we receive all the benifits. Righteousness is not about our actions, but rather it is about the reality that God’s Spirit is actively working in us!

It is not by striving to do the right thing that we obtain righteousness, but rather we allow Christ to live in us; and just as he is real and alive in us, he will also outlive the righteousness of God in us.

It’s an effortless righteousness for us, and more than that it is a powerful righteousness, because Christ is living, loving and pouring out his grace through us.

I also bring up some interesting thoughts on Moses and what he thought of the Law and his ministry as well.

If God ‘is’ love, is it even possible for him to hate?

In today’s preaching I discussed about the controversial scripture “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated”, and answered the natural question that comes from reading such a scripture: ‘Does God hate?’

If God ‘is’ love, is it even possible for him to hate?

As this preaching session was based on Romans chapter 9, I also talked about Paul’s view of the people of Isreal that I’m sure you’ll find interesting.

Enjoy,

Preaching:God Is Gracious

I preached another part of my ongoing series on the book of Romans today, and I have to say that it’s been an awesome journey so far, and today I found myself, on the journey from Romans 8 to Romans 9, reflecting on just how incredible the good news really is.

Paul so passionately proclaimed this reality throughout his letter to the Romans; and that reality was this: God is gracious. That’s a much more profound proclamation than it sounds at first. It turns the idea or a ‘God of wrath’ on its head, and opens up the way for all of us to relate with God according to his own true nature: grace.

You can listen to the message here: Understanding the most glorious reality: God is gracious (Message length: 20 minutes)
