John just can’t help but continue to talk about the greatness of Christ and how amazing the reality of His finished work is. John longs to share his joy and excitement with his pastor, but unfortunately Pastor Moses really doesn’t seem that interested.
In Pastor Moses’ mind there’s a never ending amount of work yet to be finished in the church, he can’t just stop doing stuff to twiddle his thumbs and think about these lofty ideas John keeps talking about!

I know how John can get Pastor Moses’ attention – tell him that he is going to increase his monthly giving (dare I say the ‘T’ word here?). Then, when he’s got the pastor’s attention – then he can talk about the unconditional love of God in Christ.

Yes, I have recently seen this ‘pressure’ of up keeping an institution of so called christianity. The have forgotten their first love, (Rev 2:2-4) and has set their heart, eyes and mind on their activities. :-/
But thanks to my Lover Jesus, that HE will take those who are lost to be brought back to our loving Dad.
