Becoming Non-Existent, Part 2

When Luke randomly bumped into Peggy, his old worship leader, at the local supermarket, he was a little shocked at her reaction. Luke always thought their relationship was based on their mutual identity in Christ, he’s starting realise that it may have been more based on their mutual identity in their church program. Now that Luke has left, he is, well… non-existent in Peggy’s mind.

    Hi SqUiRR3L,
I pray that the good Lord continues to guide and encourage you in the wonderful reality that you have inherited in Christ. Don’t let the yoke of ‘Churchianity’ pull you down. Sounds like your already walking in his grace and truth. I’m really encouraged about that!

This would be one of the reasons I stopped going to church years ago. I have been to many churches where the people seemed so fake. I hope and pray the church I go to now stays the way it is with mostly “real” people and not just some Bible Thumping people that are there for their own satisfaction. Those people are the ones that give religion a bad name.

Luke being unconditionally loved by Peggy. Peggy excluding him is the best thing for Luke to happen since that will bring him to his senses. Just like Paul encouraged to exclude people from church if they had a rebellious spirit.

Hello? If you just believed what I wrote, let me tell you, you have only believed it because you have been brainwashed your entire life. By Peggys and alike.

Life proves difficult for lone ranger Luke…
