Bird like faith

Why on earth would Pastor Moses listen to anything the birds have to say?

Sure, Jesus mentioned something about them being an excellent example of faith… but on the other hand, they don’t attend his church services, they don’t tithe, they don’t even understand the ‘spiritual principle’ of sowing and reaping!

If God blesses & loves the lilies of the field and the birds of the air, without them EVER giving Him something in return (except pleasure for just being birds and lilies), why would God not give us ALL He has? (And He already has – He gave us Jesus)
Why do we always have to feel as though we need to DO something for God to bless us??

That is so funny. What a great teacher a bird can be.

    i luv it!

well, if we find it so difficult to listen each other, especially to people different from us – like the homeless panhandler in my neighbourhood, or the coloured immigrant who speaks broken English, or the bisexual atheist in my college class – should it surprise us that we, like Pastor Moses, wouldn’t “listen to anything the birds have to say?”

It remains me of Paul saying that God will use simple things to confound the mighty.
