…It seems that the idea that every Christian can be led directly by the Spirit is not a popular theology in Pastor Moses’ church; in fact it seems that Pastor Moses is the only one allowed to hear from God directly, and everyone else needs to be led by him (and his vision, of course) with the idea being that, by submitting to the hierarchy of church leadership, in the end everyone will still be led by the Spirit… Hmmm, it doesn’t seem to have worked out that well for Jessica and Bobby though.

I definitely liked the comic. I can laugh because it is so true how we lose it along the way by hoping that others will hear from God for us. No wonder we end up doing strange things because the message gets distorted as it is passed from one hand to the next. My advice is to hear from God first and then from others.
