Thank God that he placed me in a church where Jesus' finished work is preached. In the past, I only knew about christianity as a very legalistic religion and the famous thing about it was the big ten. Christ is the head of the church. Without the head, the body(church) cannot function. You should be looking at the head and not the body, pastor.

This reminds me of my previous church, which was a small, charismatic, but legalistic fellowship. I was at the point where I was beginning to question some of the practices in the church and was shifting into the message of grace. I hadn't heard of Joseph Prince and the like at this time. I was spending lot's of time in my own personal Bible study. The Lord was revealing some amazing things to me. I get a call one day from the Pastor asking me how I was, and more importantly, why wasn't I attending church. I tried to tell him excitedly about what the Lord was revealing to me - he didn't want to know - he was only interested in why I wasn't attending church!
