So I have been sitting at my desk for the last few days working away on my comic, still unsure which comic I should upload first… and now I have 4 minutes left before the deadline, and I have decided with this one.
I figured since this is ‘the beginning’ of my comic strip and launch of my website, it is a good one to start with.
I was once listening to a preacher teach on Genesis one, and he talked about so many things, and used a lot of big words I didn’t understand, but nothing about Jesus. As I sat there I thought to myself ’surely if Jesus is God’s eternal plan, and he is the centre of all things, we can preach about him not only from the beginning of the New Testament, but also from the beginning of the Old Testament’. So I asked God about it, and he answered by saying to me ‘Who is the beginning?’
It’s actually quite amazing, I always thought about the beginning as a moment in time, when actually it’s a person (pause, and think about it)

Thanks for the encouragement Paul, I hope the comic makes people laugh, but also ‘think’ about some of the themes discussed in the comic, it’s been a fun journey so far!
This is a great way to highlight some of the pitfalls that we see in today’s church, in a way that is relevant and yet lighthearted at the same time.
