John is trying his best to help the younger generation in his church understand what is truly important to God, unfortunately he’s not having much success.
His greatest fear is that a whole generation of young Christians will grow up knowing everything there is to know about running a great church program, but little or nothing about the greatness of Jesus and his finished work!
Oh good Lord, may you pour out the glorious revelation of your gospel, the good news that reveals the greatness of Jesus and the power of his perfect finished work upon the cross, so that all the young believers will know you and understand your ways!

All too familiar to me! Sad!
Bobby phone hoooome!
This is so like me when I was an usher in the church and believing that it would lead to great things – perhaps my own ministry. Why didn't I just focus on knowing Jesus more?
Hehe.
That one is great, Mick
@SqUiRR3L… I am encouraged by you seeing that you already realized that trust in God does not equal trust in men who believe in God… you can be inspired by believers, but your leader remains Jesus! That's what the new covenant of the outpouring of the Spirit is all about. 'I will send you a teacher. – the Holy Spirit. And he communicates directly to you, to your heart. I am so encouraged to see that you listen to your heart!
Ha.. Ha… Ya! Jason, this must be it! How would anyone goes to church and don't know who's Jesus? Even the five year old would know.
Maybe the problem is that Bobby is outside in the carpark when he should be inside listening to Pastor Moses preaching. He would have heard of Jesus then for sure.
So far this year Pastor Moses has preached 34 times on 'serving the church', I'm sure he mentioned Jesus somewhere in his messages… but obviously Bobby missed it. You're right Jason, maybe he's spending to much time directing traffic outside.
WoW. I love these comics!!! I had to catch up and read them all but they are great.
My wife and I are new Christians (well we went to church as children but….) and we are taking a ourse called Christianity 101. These comics remind me a lot of what is going on in this class. It is Funny how you can lose sight of what you are really supposed to be doing or teaching at Church.
My wife has even talked of quitting the class because “I came to church to worship God and learn about Jesus not learn about how the church runs”. I kinda thought it would be a good idea to learn this particular church since we were new members, but know After reading your comics andrealizing that she is right I think I may just have to crash the class sunday morning. Thanks Mick for leading me in the right direction!!!
It is so sad yet so true. Many think that a church is only a place of ministry and some are so indulge in it that to the point that the ministry belongs to him! If he leaves the church one day he will take it with him.
