It's perhaps a better question to ask then 'what would Jesus do', because Jesus did a lot of things we can't do - unless someone has succeeded at the whole walking on water thing ... I think Jesus would believe people need to be given grace in their weakness - and out of all his beliefs came actions that matched. I think the same happens for all of us who are in him :-) So, 'what would Jesus believe?'
