John is putting his trust in the fact that his risen Lord is now seated in glory and committed to praying and interceding for him, Eric is putting his faith in the prayers of his pastor… Hmmm

It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:33-34

    i still can't quite understand how i can pray to God for someone without feeling i'm trying to twist His arm or change His mind. i know i can't do that but i sometimes hear preachers say we need to be desparate in our prayers and then praying corporately has more power than if i just pray to God myself. I know that can't be right either. Can you explain that to me?

    Yes so many peple they will go to heaven because their Pastor has a relationship with Jesus. They believe they are Christians simply because they go to church. Well going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car…

    It's about time we dispelled that nonsense of looking for the most anointed evangelists and pastors to pray for us in order to make a breakthrough. No more flocking to the latest revival hotspot. Let's learn to seek that assurance that God's power abides in us by the Holy Spirit, we are right with God and that He hears our prayers. Amen.

    prayer is one of the most powerful tools one can have coz no one can take it away from you and you can do it where ever and when ever and how ever YOU want… great stuff, just use it!!

    Hasn't John been to Pastor Moses's office and seen the magic red phone??

    Its funny how people think that If the Pastor prays for them it will be answered sooner or even better. Nice one!!
