This week I interviewed, for the second time, Martin Zender. Martin is an author and preacher who is not afraid to think, and talk about some topics many preachers shy away from. I really appreciate his honest search for truth and I’m sure you will find this interview very interesting, with more than a few points you might not have thought to much about before.
One of the main points Martin is well known for his his belief that, according to the Bible, God’s plan is to reconcile all of mankind to himself. For many this seems to be a huge theological problem, as the Bible also talks a lot about eternal torment, separation and fiery furnaces. I shared with Martin the concern many Christians are faced with, when they hear someone saying that in the end God will reconcile all to himself, is that it seems to minimize, or even remove the need of Jesus. Martin shares his response to that question in the interview, and also throws out a lot of other though provoking ideas.
The interview is below. I hope you enjoy it. I have also added the first interview I did with Martin below the current interview as well for those who missed it. OK, enjoy listening in on our conversation ![]()

Hey Mick, thanks so much for this interview. You guys covered so many pertinent points. I believe this is the REAL good news!
Yup…it’s either all God or it ain’t God. Sad to say, but no one has anything to do with their salvation…lest any man should boast.
I luv it when people “testify” about WHEN they were saved. July 4, 1957 or 1971 or whenever. Everybody knows exactly when it happened. I used to be the same way.
However, let’s give credit where credit is due. For those “who believe” it was approximately 2000 yrs ago. We need to change pronouns daily from “I” to “He”.
I Timothy 4:10…enjoy your salvation TODAY!!!
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam ALL die, even so IN CHRIST shall ALL be made alive. But EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
THEN COMETH THE END, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down ALL rule and ALL authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put ALL enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put ALL things under his feet. But when he saith, ALL things are put him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put ALL under things under him.
And when ALL things(PEOPLE)shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put ALL things(people) under him, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL. 1 Cor 15:19-28
Mick, my heart is rejoicing as I listen to you and Martin encourage whosoever will, to listen to, to consider and to talk about “What they believe and Why they believe it.
I am a Mother, a Grandmother and a Great Grandmother. I am a lover of the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, His Son and of their Precious Holy Spirit. I now know that I am an ambassador for Christ and a minister of the Gospel, and of reconciliation, just as all men are when they come to this joyful Good News.
In 1980, their was in my heart an overwhelming and burning desire to love Christ more, to know him more. I set my heart to seek him in ways that I had not yet experienced. I set aside additional time to pray, and just to read from Genesis through to Revelation in a year and then I began again, then again, etc. In 1984, I bought a used concordance (no computer). I began looking up the meanings of many, many words.
From 1980 on the Word and Gods love were becoming more and more alive to me. I underlined, made notes and began to journal about the wonderful and loving heart of God. I compiled a list of well over a 100 scriptures that spoke of Gods love and faithfulness to all mankind. I began having dreams and visions, which to this day, are as vivid and real, as when I had them. At one point of time, I heard these words in my heart, “What do you believe and why do you believe it?” To make a very long story shorter, I only know that the scripture that was made so real to my heart and all the experiences I had, bought me to believe:
That God is the Savior of all mankind, that not one would be lost, in this life or the next, yesterday, today and forever!
That the Good New, the Gospel really is good news, without the bad news as:
I no longer believed in a hell that was created by God to torture most of mankind, endlessly, and forever.
I would say to the Lord, am I the only one who sees this in your word. How can those who study and teach what is being taught, not be able to see in the word, what I was seeing. Of course I then had to admit that I had read repeatedly, many, many of the scriptures both old and new, over the many years prior 1980, but was only now seeing them. In 2002, I tuned in to TBN and heard a young preacher declare that “Jesus was Saviour of the world, that all mankind was saved, but they just did not know it”.
Since then my heart has rejoiced, to find out via the Internet, that there are many who have been and are awakening to this “soul setting free”, knowledge. It’s been 30 years of the best of times and the worst of times, but by Gods grace, his faith and faithfulness, I am still on the journey, that I came to call, “The Elijah Task Journey, a Journey Out of Captivity.” FAITHFULL IS HE WHO HAS PROMISED.
Today my faith is in His Faith and Faithfulness alone. I rest in the loving arms of God because of the Finished Work of the Cross. I am Loving ‘n Hugging ALL MANKIND, because HE FIRST LOVED, SAVED, RECONCILED, and JUSTIFIED, ALL MANKIND! There is ONE BODY, and it is made up of the Father’s sons and daughters, believers and unbelievers, from the beginning of time.
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because I trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. These things, command and teach.1 Tim. 4:9-11
Martin has inspired me for several years and it is good to hear him always. I look foward to hearing him on the topic of “free” will. I have read his books and subscribe to his news letters and well as supporting his ministry. I personally feel that the truth is shuned by most who have set their minds on the teachings of Christianity and refuse to investigate for themselves as we are instructed in the Burean reference. I call these people lazy. I hope I’m not to harsh. God is in control despite what the clergy says.
Martin, hearing this wonderful unfolding of realization was so exciting!!! Mick, may God bless you and grow you in the knowledge of Him.
Interesting point about being saved by grace through faith. Don’t forget that Jesus is the “author and finisher of our faith” So if that’s true then he really is doing it all to save us, we are doing nothing..
Wonderful interview! I am so greatful that I now know after 50+ years that Jesus is the complete and victorious savior of the whole world, sin & death are already defeated, and that my loved ones who do not know and claim these promises at this time WILL one day know that their redeemer also lives for them and loves them with an everlasting love!!
WOW – thanks Mick & Martin for the fantastic interview. I hope that many will come to the knowledge of this glorious truth of the grace of God for all through this interview.
