When there was no sin there was no death. Sin brought death for the scripture says "the wages of sin is death." Before Adam sinned there was no death. so how can Adam screamed "rescue me from this body of death?" God took the dust and formed Adam and breathed into him God's own breath. Don't you think that God's breath is such power, it is life itself, that it filled every fiber of Adam's being including the dust he was formed from. The very breath of God carries all of God. So Adam was filled with God. God gave Adam a will to choose and when he partook of the tree of knowledge of good and evil he sinned and death came as a result. No sin no death!
