Understanding God’s Idea Of Righteousness

In today’s message I discuss the difference between understanding ‘righteousness by works‘ compared to a ‘righteousness by faith.’

The amzing thing about God’s idea of rightousness is that he does all the work in us, and we receive all the benifits. Righteousness is not about our actions, but rather it is about the reality that God’s Spirit is actively working in us!

It is not by striving to do the right thing that we obtain righteousness, but rather we allow Christ to live in us; and just as he is real and alive in us, he will also outlive the righteousness of God in us.

It’s an effortless righteousness for us, and more than that it is a powerful righteousness, because Christ is living, loving and pouring out his grace through us.

I also bring up some interesting thoughts on Moses and what he thought of the Law and his ministry as well.

Yes,about the Ministry of Righteousness (an expression of God) in us will exceed the ministry of condemnation. The Law of Moses had glory. Moses did many miracles signs and wonder. But today there is much more glory in the church because the Ministry of righteousness that exceeds (multiply) in glory. 2 Cor. 3:9 Today the glory of grace exceeds the glory of Law. Moses did many miracles and signs and wonders. But the New Testament the glory is from glory to glory. That glory is changing us and multiplies in us. This glory is greater than what Moses did.
