Kinda went the other way with that: started out as a teacher, did it for a few years and then finished (by choice) setting up/taking down chairs, pushing a broom/mop. Still was involved. Still helped. Just decided doing the little stuff was important, too, and I didn’t need the “glory” of being out in front. “The first shall be last and the last shall be first.”
