great wakeup call to many ;) church is a great tool in equipping people to understand the Grace message and relationship building with Jesus.from there on we need to strive on the 1 on 1 teaching by following Christ.

I have to agree that Christianity is a relationship and not a religion. At least, it should be. It’s a shame that many of those declaring it a relationship are also the same ones making it a religion of rules.

Oh my! My niece, years ago, had a dream about a creature that was sucking the life out of Christians although they still walked around looking “normal”. The name of the creature was “Obligation”. I’ve never forgotten that dream..of course much more detailed than space, time or interest allows!

    “It’s not a religion, it’s a relationship…” If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that line…

I think I might have bought a car from Pastor Moses once… or was it a bridge?

I’d be a rich man too Wayne ;-)

I enjoy stepping in from time to time & reading your comic ministry, Mick. There’s something to be said about how your unique approach to churchy stereotypes & misconceptions that we need to deal with in our own circles of influence. The use of sarcasm & other literary devices help us have fun stepping on our own toes while we really get a good laugh & good look at ourselves in the mirror. We need to really allow God to refine our approach to how we serve Him. You give us a great way to do that & I lift you up in prayer & edification. May God continue to use you, your comic ministry, & those you influence to His glory, Amen!

Hi John, thanks for dropping by, and for your kind words and feedback. It’s always nice to hear from people and their view of the comic. Really happy to hear it is a positive help in causing reflection and conversation, that can result in growing in grace and making sure we keep the message of God’s grace the central reality of our communities. Thanks also for the prayers, they are really appreciated.
