I’ve often heard that a failure to tithe is “robbing God.” Almost always those who insist that we are required to give 10% of our income to God will tell you to make the check out to their employer.

Pastor Moses seems to get very protective when he hears other pastors preaching things that he insists are heresy, and finds no problem with publicly rebuking them for the way they are misleading God’s flock… Hmmm, John can’t help but wonder how Pastor Moses would react if someone publicly rebuked him on similar grounds for preaching heresy.
John can’t figure out what the difference is between preaching that Christians are still obligated to be circumcised and preaching that Christians are still obligated to tithe. Why is preaching circumcision heresy in Pastor Moses mind, but preaching tithing is totally acceptable? Aren’t they both part of the old covenant ceremonial law?
It amazes me how pastors continue to teach this heresy without any sound scriptural basis.
Those who change Gods word and teach ‘storehouse money tithing’ as a requirement for salvation are taking a grave risk.
Jesus says that if anyone changes ‘one jot or tittle of the Law’…they WILL be least in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus says that tithing is a ‘matter of the Law’ (Mat 23:23)…this is also confirmed in Hebrews 7:5 where it says ‘the Levites have requirement under the Law to collect tithes’
This confirms that tithing before the Law was NOT a requirement! (and certainly not a ‘spiritual revelation’ either)
To teach tithing today IS to deliberately change God’s Law:-
1) Tithes were to be for Israel ONLY (Lev 27:1+34) …not Gentiles (Acts 15)
2) Tithes were only to be FOOD grown in Israel (Lev 27:30&32)…never Money
3) Tithes were only EVER to be given to Levites under a covenant (Number 18:21-23)
4) Levites were consequently required to FORFEIT their inheritance in the Land (Number 18:21-23)
5) Tithes were to be eaten by the giver in the presence of the LORD …to celebrate HIS blessing (Deut 14;23)
God has NOT authorised any changes in this regard…….Tithing as taught today is a heresy created by the covetous so-called church.
Either teach ‘tithing’ as GOD says it is …..or admit it is NOT relevant today for the church.
Preachers of this heresy worldwide are called to repentance

@Christ – Does anyone actually teach tithing “as a requirement for salvation”? as you suggest. I have heard hundreds of messages on tithing but never “as a requirement for salvation”. I would be interested in hearing you supply some evidence of this claim.
Pastor Robert Morris teaches in a video series, “The Blessed Life” that you will be cursed, Your finances, marriage, job and children, all will be cursed, if you do not give *the first* check you write, which must be 10%, to the local church.
OHHH!!! Good catch Chris! If tithing was under LAW, then it was not “pre Law”. And might I point out that Abraham only ever tithed to Melchizedek *one* time, ever.
