i didn’t understand this comic but after reading the comments, i understand it now. I liked your last comment, Mick,to replace the word denomination with clique. That would be very appropriate.
I totally identify with Luke.
an interesting way to say Christianity’s not a religion, it’s a relationship. With “religious” Christians laying claim to the phrase and still being religious, perhaps it’s even a better way to state the concept.
How about? “Luke, I rebuke that spirit of unbelieve in our club. You need to join it or else u will be on your way to hell. The only way to heaven is thru our club”
Oh wow can I relate….. In Christ 100% but I don’t feel very welcome or a good fit for Christianity.

I do think the guy who refuses to acknowledge the church is more likely to be labeled a “heathen” than a “pagan”, but most people in the church don’t know the difference anyway. Yeah… pagan works just fine!

Had a thought a while ago — maybe we should replace the word “denomination” with “clique”? Might be more appropriate in some cases…..
