Your comics are right on! We were once part of a church where they actually sent out an e-mail to several of us leaders telling us that they wanted us to be at a specific service in the future (When the church wide fast would be broken together.) to give “prophetic words” to those who came up front! We did not attend that service!!! Seriously?!?!! Many may read your comics and think they are extreme, but people do actually “schedule” when the Holy Spirit is going to show up! (or at least what they want people to believe is the Holy Spirit).

The Holy Spirit shows up EVERY Sunday where I attend church… He comes in the door with us because we have Him inside of us!!!

Right on Carly. The Holy Spirit is always with us. Glad you’re enjoying the comics.

Is it true that a lot of songs including some old hymns say things like that? And according to the Truth of God’s Word some of the old hymns are not scriptural?

this is a great cartoon, and ya if heard weird things like “holy spirit we release you” as if the Holy spirit is locked up in a suitcase somewhere.

yeah, there are really some incredible christianese sayings. That one is high on the list of silliness for sure.

To Renier. Laughing out loud! The way you put this is so funny but it’s truly sad so many people have been so ignorant of really knowing the truth of the word because no one has really taught them the truth that the Holy Spirit is ever-present. It hasn’t been long ago since i believed “Holy Spirit we release you” was “right-on!”
